“Never a dull moment” at Texas for 5-star ATH Michael Terry III

One of the top prospects at Thursday’s Texas Bash Recruiting BBQ was the On3 Industry’s No. 1 ranked athlete in five-star Michael Terry III .

Steve Sarkisian and the Longhorns gave Terry a terrific official visit in June and his return was no different.

“Texas is never a dull moment,” Terry told On3 on Friday morning. “Pretty much going over things with Coach Shar (Tashard Choice).”

Texas plans to utilize the 6-foot-2 1/2, 211-pound Terry out of the backfield and then all over the field in the passing game.

“Watching the practice seeing my ex-high school teammates,” Terry continued with what impressed. “And showing me how they work and evaluate the news guys explaining what they looking for and what they would look to get from me all was a good takeaways and help me understand exactly what I’ll be doing and how I’ll handle working with different position coaches on getting development for multiple positions.

“And Coach Shar explaining the things I do well and the things he’ll like me to do better.”

Next up for Terry is Oregon this weekend and Nebraska early next week.

“I always knew Texas was a great fit for me just like Oregon and Nebraska,” Terry said. “That’s why I’m taking these final visits to make sure my evaluation and my heart is right with my decision.”

Terry ranks as the On3 Industry’s No. 28 prospect overall.
