Police spoke to two victims in an apartment on 9th Street between Griffith Avenue and Adams Street, and contacted the third in the parking lot, according to a search warrant. They were taken to Kern Medical.

“Several pools and marks of blood” were found in the apartment, according to the warrant.

Alex and Edgar Medina were arrested at the scene and several knives were found in the parking lot and by an adjoining fence, according to the warrant.

Edgar Medina faces the most serious charges — attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, robbery, burglary and vandalism.
