John Harbaugh Reveals GOAT Plan For Lamar Jackson

Lamar Jackson is one of the most decorated NFL players of his era. Despite winning his second Most Valuable Player award in 2023, the Baltimore Ravens believe their franchise quarterback has yet to scrape what they believe is a best-ever ceiling.

After Baltimore opened training camp at the Under Armour Performance Center in Owings Mills, MD, on Sunday, coach John Harbaugh revealed the team's collaborative plan to help Jackson emerge as the greatest quarterback in NFL history .

"The vision that we have together is that Lamar Jackson is going to become and be known and be recognized as the greatest quarterback ever to play in the history of the National Football League," he told reporters, per Jamison Hensley of ESPN. "It's going to happen by Lamar, his work ethic and his brilliant talent, by all of us pouring into that effort together as a team and by the grace of God and God's goodwill."

Jackson threw for 3,678 yards, 24 touchdowns, and seven interceptions while adding 821 yards and five scores on the ground, leading the Ravens to a league-best 14-3 record. He ran away with MVP honors as a result, becoming just the 11th player in NFL annals to receive football's top individual honor on multiple occasions.

An otherwise dream season for Baltimore ended with heartbreak in the AFC Championship Game, though, when the Ravens fell to Patrick Mahomes and the two-time reigning Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs.

Expect Jackson and company to be right back in the mix for the Vince Lombardi Trophy in 2024.
