Police Investigating 'Suspicious Death' in Flagler Beach Last Week
The Flagler Beach Police Department announced that they're investigating a 'suspicious death' that occurred in the city last week, according to a release sent out on the matter. The agency is working alongside the Flagler County Sheriff's Office, 7th Judicial Circuit State Attorney's Office, and the State Medical Examiner's Office to investigate the death of 66-year-old Sally Byrd.
Leesburg man and accomplice tracked down in connection with burglaries
Deland police officers and Volusia County deputies worked together to arrest two subjects following a rash of vehicle and residential burglaries on Deland’s north end. Day’Arean Kyre’ll Lynum, 22, from Leesburg and Brandon Larry, 22, from Orlando were arrested July 19 after two successful tire deflation device deployments along with assistance from Air1 and K-9 Zoie that tracked them into the woods, announced the DeLand Police Department.
