Central Florida Toddler Tragically Found Dead in Canal on Rural Property
A 2-year-old boy who was reported lost on a 10-acre Osteen-area property was found dead in a canal in an apparent accidental drowning. Volusia County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a 911 call just before 6pm at the property on Flowing Creek Way in Central Florida. The parents of the 2-year-old toddler were already searching for him. Deputies arrived and assisted in an interior and exterior search.

Leesburg man and accomplice tracked down in connection with burglaries
Deland police officers and Volusia County deputies worked together to arrest two subjects following a rash of vehicle and residential burglaries on Deland’s north end.
