On Tuesday at 3:42 p.m. an updated tornado warning was issued by the National Weather Service in effect until 4 p.m. for Oneida County. "At 3:27 p.m., a confirmed tornado was near Rome, moving east at 35 mph," states the weather service. "Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter.
