    Marstons Mills porch collapses, seven sent to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries

    Seven people were sent to the hospital after a porch collapsed in Marstons Mills on Saturday night, according to the Centerville-Osterville-Marstons Mills Fire Department.

    First responders arrived to 63 Mountain Ash Road at 8:48 p.m. after receiving reports of a deck collapse. Seven people were brought to the hospital, all with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the fire department press release.

    COMM Fire Department including mutual aid units from Cotuit Fire Department, West Barnstable Fire Department, and Mashpee Fire Department brought patients to Cape Cod Hospital.

    The cause of the collapse remains under investigation.
