The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries is looking for seasonal technicians who aren't afraid to mix it up with baby alligators. The job posting is for a Seasonal Wildlife Technician, based in their Lafayette Alligator Management Program. From mid-March to October, the position will entail travel throughout the state, measuring, tagging and sacking captive-raised juvenile alligators for release to the wild. They promise extensive manual labor, to the tune of stuffing said alligators into burlap sacks and hauling the loaded sacks to trailers.
