4 facing drug charges after Livingston Parish deputies seize meth, fentanyl
LIVINGSTON PARISH, La. (BRPROUD) — Four people were arrested after an investigation by the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office. Agents with the LPSO Narcotics Division got a complaint about the distribution of fentanyl in Livingston Parish, according to the sheriff’s office. Sheriff Jason Ard said the complaint centered around Kelvin “BoBo” Johnson, 48, of Baton Rouge.
TPSO searching for Roseland man accused of skipping rape trial
AMITE --- The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to be on the lookout for a rape suspect believed to be armed and dangerous. Gerald Stevens, 55 of Roseland, is wanted for Failure to Appear for his trial date Monday, July 15, in a Third Degree Rape case involving a juvenile from 2021.

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries is looking for seasonal technicians who aren't afraid to mix it up with baby alligators. The job posting is for a seasonal wildlife technician, based in the agency's Lafayette Alligator Management Program. From mid-March to October, the position will entail travel throughout the state, measuring, tagging and sacking captive-raised juvenile alligators for release to the wild. They promise extensive manual labor, to the tune of stuffing said alligators into burlap sacks and hauling the loaded sacks to trailers.
