LSU already has its potential quarterback of the future committed in 2025’s No. 1 overall prospect Bryce Underwood , but now, it’s looking to lock up its signal-caller for the 2026 class.
On Saturday, five-star quarterback Faizon Brandon will announce his decision. The Grimsley (Greensboro, N.C.) prospect ranks as the No. 10 player in the nation according to On3’s industry rankings, though 247Sports ranks him as the No. 1 player in America.
He’s down to a final four that features LSU, Alabama , NC State and Tennessee . The Volunteers hold multiple crystal ball projections to land him and are the heavy favorite according to the On3 recruiting prediction machine.
Brandon will announce his decision at 2 p.m. CT on 247Sports’ YouTube channel as LSU hopes it can pull of a surprise.
