    City of Bayonne hiring firefighters

    BAYONNE, N.J. (PIX11) — The city of Bayonne in New Jersey is looking to hire more firefighters for its fire department.

    Applications opened on July 1 and will close on Aug. 30. According to the city’s website , you need to be between 18 and 34 years old, live in Bayonne, and be a U.S. citizen with a valid New Jersey driver’s license along with having your high school diploma or GED.

    The application fee is $35, according to New Jersey’s Civil Service Commission . You should look at the 2024 firefighter fact sheet to ensure you align with the hiring department.
