What had been the 2-year-old Archie Grand on Mamaroneck Avenue in White Plains is now El Primo, an agave bar with a Latin American focus. The restaurant, which opened July 1 and translates to "cousin," has the same ownership as before, namely Brazen Fox owners Declan Rainsford and Rory Dolan (who also owns Rory Dolan's in Yonkers), but with the addition of Daniel Cahill, formerly of The Blind Pig of Westchester and OMC in White Plains.

Local friends join forces to create the Copperhead Club
When Sue’s Sunset House closed its doors on May 15, Peekskill lost an iconic (and literal) corner bar. But, thanks to Kacie Wilson (36), Carolyn Mosher (26), Zach Moore (37), Rocco Fultz (28), Meg Blatt (37) and Rob Blatt (42), the city is getting another cozy destination tavern in the same spot. Together, the six friends have put in over 2500 hours renovating, painting, and preparing for the grand opening of the Copperhead Club at 137 North Water Street in Peekskill.
It's a Dog's (and a Cat's) Life
When Kay Gately of Wilton Gayterry Kennels showed a stately Afghan hound and her husband Tom trotted out a sporty Airedale terrier at the 1943 Westminster Dog Show, neither they nor their audience ever considered that the particular breed or even species of their four-legged friends said anything about their own identity or social status. Unlike the Gatelys, who were professional handlers, regular Wiltonians have often judged one another on their pet-keeping practices.
