New indoor go-kart and activity center opens

Mach1 Speedway , an indoor go-kart and arcade center, is now open in Bellingham, in the previous location of VOLLI, a pickleball and activity center. Mach1 offers go-kart racing, mini golf, cornhole, arcade games, pool, table games and shuffleboard. The speedway also has a restaurant inside, The Pit Stop Pizzeria & Bar, which serves pizza, beer, ciders and salads.

Mach1 is open from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday; 3 to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday; and noon to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday at 4190 Cordata Parkway in Bellingham.

Chipotle opens second Bellingham location, with a drive-through

Chipotle , the chain Mexican restaurant known for build-your-own burritos, is opening its second Bellingham location. The Bellis Fair mall had the only Chipotle in the county, but is now joined by a unique Chipotle location at 104 Samish Way.

The restaurant is open from 10:45 a.m. to 10 pm. daily and is currently hiring.

    New national chain moving in
