New Hope for Old McDonald’s Restaurant in Endwell
Some recent signs of activity outside a closed McDonald's restaurant in Endwell have residents wondering whether a new business will be opening at the site. The fast food operation closed suddenly 18 months ago. McDonald's representatives did not say why the place was shut down 23 years after it opened at the site of the old Hooper School.

Bookmobile gets books into the hands of kids over the summer
The Chenango Forks Bookmobile is making its way around the district this summer with one simple goal. "Our goal is to get books in the hands of kids throughout the summer that might not have access or don't have the time to get them and just to continue to develop that love of reading which gets us through the summer," explained Bookmobile committee member and volunteer Sara Brooks.
