Summary: Temperatures today slightly warmer than yesterday thanks to sunnier skies with a chance for stray showers into the afternoon and then as we move into Friday, a cold will move through prompting rain showers to continue to increase throughout the Labor Day weekend. We are anticipating anywhere between one to potentially 3 inches across all of our viewing area through Wednesday of next week for the chance for a slow moving front to bring some drenching showers. An upper level low will continue to pull in tropical moisture along with a pacific front that could bring an additional amount of rain showers. Temperatures are expected to be well below average as we look ahead to a front on Friday and another cold front by Wednesday. If you’re going somewhere across the state of Texas for Labor Day weekend, you’ll likely need your umbrella along the way.

Today: Mostly sunny with a few stray clouds as temperatures remain close to seasonal with a chance at a stray shower by late this evening. High Temperature: 96° Winds: SSE 5-10 MPH

Tonight: Rain showers clearing out leading to a calm night. Low Temperature: 75° Winds: SE 5-10 MPH
