Binghamton Swimming & Diving Teams Ready for America East Championships
VESTAL, N.Y, — The Binghamton swimming & diving teams travel to the America East Championships, which will be held Wednesday-Saturday. For the first time ever, the meet will be hosted by Virginia Military Institute (VMI). On the men’s side, the Bearcats return three defending individual champions and all four members of last season’s winning 4×800 free relay team. LEXINGTON, Va. – Junior Elijah Lanfear won the men's 50 free, highlighting Binghamton's performance at the second day of the America East Swimming & Diving Championships on Thursday at the VMI. VESTAL, N.Y. – The Binghamton swimming & diving teams sent their 21 seniors out in style, setting six pool records and sweeping Wagner in its annual Senior Day Meet on Saturday afternoon at the Saunders Aquatic Center. The Binghamton Black Bears will hang their Commissioner's Cup banner on Saturday, October 12th during the team's home opener. The 2024-2025 FPHL schedule has not been released, but the Black Bears did announce on social media that the team's home opener will be on October 12th at 7 pm against the Watertown Wolves. POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Binghamton men's and women's swimming & diving swept Marist in their final dual meet Saturday afternoon at McCann Natatorium.
