    Your guide to 4th of July fireworks in Greater Binghamton

    (WIVT/WBGH) – Looking to celebrate the Fourth of July with a firework show? News 34 has got you covered.

    Fireworks are illegal in the City of Binghamton however, no Independance Day is complete without them! We’ve compiled a list of local firework shows available to the public so those looking to enjoy the holiday tradition can do so safely.

    July 3

    Binghamton Rumble Ponies – Celebrate Independance Day Eve at Mirabito Stadium! The Binghamton Rumble Ponies will take on the Hartford Yard Goats in the final game of the series at 5:45 p.m. Following the game, the Ponies will display their largest firework show of the year, Bing, Bang, Boom! There will also be an appearance from the US Navy Blue Angels and a post-game concert from Alyssa Crosby. Tickets are available on bingrp.com .

    Concerts in the Park – Hickories Park in Owego is celebrating our nation’s birthday with fireworks and music. From 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., the Kirby Band will take the stage, playing a variety of music for everyone to enjoy. A fireworks display will follow the concert. The event is free and open to all who wish to attend.

    July 4

    Town of Union Fourth of July Extravaganza – The annual Highland Park Fourth of July Extravaganza is back! Featuring a chicken barbeque, kid’s activities, live music and more, families can celebrate the holiday with a whole day of fun. The free event will begin at 2 p.m., with fireworks beginning at 9:30. In case of rain, fireworks will be held the following night.

    Norwich Fireworks over the Fairgrounds – Held at the Chenango County Fairgrounds, guests can celebrate the Fourth of July with food, music, vendors, tractor pulls, and more. The event will begin at 3:30 p.m. and will conclude with Fireworks. Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 the day of the event. Click here to purchase. It is $10 per carload for those looking to attend only the fireworks show.

    Tioga Downs – Fireworks will begin after racing has concluded.
