Binghamton man killed by vehicle in Hershey

(WIVT/WBGH) – Police are currently investigating a fatal crash that claimed the life of a Binghamton man.

In the early morning hours of July 26, the Derry Township Police Department was dispatched to the area of Hersheypark Drive and Hotel Road for a pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle.

Upon arrival, first responders and medical personnel attempted life saving measures of the pedestrian. The pedestrian, who was identified as 54-year-old Randy Ticknor, succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver of the Dodge Caravan was Issac Young, 29, of Fredericksburg, Pennsylvania.

The investigation remains ongoing. No further details have been released.
