    Summer is in full swing. With the weather heating up, it's the perfect time to explore what the Southern Tier has to offer, including plenty of waterfront restaurants.

    The Boatyard Grill

    Where: 525 Taughannock Blvd., Ithaca

    Hours: 4-9 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday; 4-10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

    Known for: Seafood fra diavolo, beet salad, Buffalo chicken egg rolls, calamari, sizzling garlic steak and the wood-fired chicken pasta, as well as specialty cocktails.
