    Bismarck man arrested for stomping on another man’s head

    BISMARCK, ND ( KXNET ) — Police arrested a man after they say he attacked another man and knocked him unconscious over the weekend.

    It happened in Bismarck around 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, when police were called to a home along Burleigh Avenue.

    There, witnesses told them they saw a man stomp on another man’s head.

    Body found by Minot police believed to be missing person; murder suspected

    When they talked to the victim, the man told police he didn’t remember what happened.

    They then talked to the man believed to be responsible, Covey Hale.

    Hale admitted he’d been drinking with the other people nearby before the fight happened.

    Hale was arrested for aggravated assault. This week, a judge set his bond at $500. He will be back in court next month.
