MF&R presents First Aid class
The Moravia Fire & Rescue Department, in conjunction with Moravia Library, presented a class on First Aid Basics to a group of 32 children and adults last Thursday. Jessi Nicoletto and Ashley Snow demonstrated what items are contained in a First Aid kit and how to use each piece in a medical emergency. Fire Chief Ryan Moore talked about fire safety, explaining what to do in case of a house fire, the basics of campfire safety, and he also discussed the dangers of fireworks.
Lucas County students graduate from IHCC
OTTUMWA -- Indian Hills Community College has released the names of the 314 students who completed their graduation requirements at the end of the 2024 Spring Term. This is a list of Lucas County students who received an Associate of Arts (AA) degree, Associate of Science (AS) degree, Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree, Diploma (DIP), or Certificate (CER) from IHCC .
