HARTFORD, Conn. — Stop & Shop is recalling multiple varieties of its store-brand chicken cutlets due to some ingredients not being mentioned on the label. The grocery chain recalled Wednesday its 2LB breaded chicken cutlets, UPC code 999990003659, and its 7 oz Italian breaded chicken cutlets, UPC code 022729900000.
Dog dumped in woods hit by car on Route 44
A dog that was dumped in the woods is recovering after being hit by a car on Route 44. Burlington and Canton Animal Control said a terrier mix that is approximately one-year-old was found in the woods near the intersection of Route 44 and Sterling Drive on the Farmington River side.
