Awkward Verbal Exchange Between Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston After Fever Loss Raises Eyebrows

The Indiana Fever fell to 7-12 on the 2024 WNBA season on Thursday, after they lost to the Seattle Storm by a score of 89-77.

After the game, both Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston participated in a press conference together.

And they shared an awkward verbal exchange a few minutes in.

Fever beat reporter Matthew Byrne posted on X Thursday night saying, "Three minutes into the presser, all questions were for Caitlin Clark. She fielded all of them, then said to ask questions to Aliyah Boston. Boston waved, "No, I'm good"––Clark then repeated: "Ask Aliyah a question."

It sounds like both of the No. 1 overall WNBA Draft picks wanted the other one to do the talking.

It was a forgettable game for both Clark and Boston against the Storm. Clark finished the game with 15 points (most of which came in the first half), 7 assists, and 6 rebounds.

As for Boston, she scored 11 points and tallied 14 rebounds.

While Boston's numbers aren't bad, they're much lower than the monster numbers she had produced in recent games.

The Fever will look to get back on track when they face the Phoenix Mercury on Sunday.
