Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark is one of the most popular athletes in all of sports. Amid a historic rookie campaign, Clark continues to break records, but has remained humble throughout her rise to superstardom.
A college basketball legend during her time at Iowa, Clark met Iowa Men's Basketball player Connor McCaffery, and the two began dating. Sending a heartfelt message to McCaffery in an Instagram post on Saturday, Clark wished her boyfriend a happy birthday.
"Happy Birthday Con! Celebrating you is easy :) thankful to have someone as selfless and as loving as you in my life," Clark wrote. "May this be the year you finally find a way to outshoot me ;) Love you always."

In his six years at Iowa, McCaffery appeared in 166 games for the Hawkeyes, averaging 4.5 points per game in 23.3 minutes per contest. McCaffery also appeared in 32 games for Iowa's baseball team in 2019, batting .238 with one home run in 93 plate appearances.
A high-level athlete himself, McCaffery had a great collegiate career at Iowa where he met Clark.
Clark's time at Iowa has been well documented, as the former Hawkeyes star became NCAA's all-time leading scorer in her final collegiate season. Recently winning the ESPY for Best Record Breaking Performance, Clark made history as the first woman to win that award.
One of the greatest college athletes ever, Clark will always be a legend at Iowa.
