Breckenridge works on finalizing concepts for the reconfiguration of a key area of town
Breckenridge is narrowing down concepts for the future reconfiguration of one of its busiest areas of town, the East Sawmill and Wellington Lot area. The reconfiguration of the area is in conjunction with a project the town plans to roll out, called Blue River Pathways, to increase connectivity throughout downtown and improve safety for pedestrians and bikers.

Once again, the Dillon Town Council has provided more fuel to throw on its growing fire of incompetence. This time, we need to dig into a bit of Constitutional law, but first, here are the facts: On April 9, 2024, the Town Council considered different proposals for use of the Dillon Amphitheater, specifically by various nonprofit organizations, religious and otherwise. Town attorney Kathleen Kelly was asked to provide a legal opinion as to what policies the town could or could not support. She did, and the council did not like what she had to say. On June 11, 2024, the council voted 5-1 against her advice and she thereafter submitted her resignation to the town.

Colorado company uses plastic from Dillon Marina and turns it into roads
While a pile of polyethylene plastic wrap piled up in a storage shed for the Dillon Marina (from boats wrapped up in the off-season) Craig Simson, the "Mayor" of the Dillon Marina started looking for a place to put it. Previously the supplier would take the plastic back and recycle it, but it became too costly, and the supplier simply stopped offering the service. Frisco looks to businesses to help inform town-specific Climate Action Plan
The town of Frisco is seeking input from businesses as it crafts its first Climate Action & Resilience Plan. The town, along with High Country Conservation Center, will host a Town Hall on Tuesday morning, July 30, to hear the perspectives of Frisco businesses to guide goals, priorities and strategies, according to a news release.
