DMV Dining Destinations | Discovering Richmond’s Unbelievably Delicious Szechuan Cuisine!

Traveling through Richmond, I looked up and found this Chinese restaurant highly recommended, so I had to check it out! 🧳🍴 The place was empty, maybe because it wasn't mealtime, and the decor was a bit dated - I was worried for a second there! 😟 But, to my surprise, the dishes we ordered were pretty good! Here's the lowdown: - Sichuan Cold Noodles: I found them just okay, mainly because they were too sweet for my taste. 🍜 - Couple's Lung Slices: They were gobbled up almost immediately! I didn't try them due to pregnancy, but Mr. Zhang from Chongqing said they were delicious and definitely not a miss. 👌 - Pumpkin Potato Pancakes: Super tasty! Crispy on the outside, sticky on the inside, with a red bean filling that's just sweet enough. 🥞❤️ - Boiled Fish: Delicious! The fish was super fresh, and the meat was tender, clearly not from frozen. The veggies inside were also fantastic. Highly recommend! 🐟💯 - Seafood Pot: I only tried the seafood, not the crispy rice, but my friend from Sichuan who loves crispy rice said it was delicious! 🦐🍲 - Ants Climbing a Tree (glass noodles with ground meat): Just average, wouldn't really recommend. 🐜🌲 - Mexican Chili Stir-fried Eggs with Shredded Meat: Recommended by the owner, and it was indeed perfect with rice. A must-try! 🌶️🥚🍖 - Pineapple Fried Rice: Ordered for the kids, but the leftovers were quickly devoured by the adults! 🍍🍚 Overall, I highly recommend this place, except for the cold noodles and the ants climbing a tree; everything else was delicious!
