    Bullet fragment injures man after shooting in Blytheville, AR

    MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man was left injured due to a bullet fragment after shots were fired in Blytheville, Arkansas on Tuesday, police say.

    According to the Blytheville Police Department, they were notified by Great River Medical ER staff that a man arrived in the emergency room claiming he had been shot in the head.

    BPD says it started when the victim was outside his home in the 2400 block of Carolyn Street with his dogs. Two men were walking down the street and the dogs began to run toward them.

    The men pulled out guns and fired shots at the dogs, police say.

    As a result of the incident, reports state the man who owned the dogs was injured by a bullet fragment.

    The incident was also caught on the Skycop cam in the area, but this is still an ongoing investigation.
