    Arrest made in deadly Spartanburg Co. shooting

    SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – Deputies have arrested a man accused of shooting and killing another man last week in Spartanburg County.

    The shooting happened along Outlook Drive in Boiling Springs.

    The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office said they were called to the scene for a shots fired call around 1:40 a.m. when they found the victim slumped over the steering wheel of a vehicle that had crashed into a fence.

    The victim, 25-year-old Kaylen Devagieo Boston of Duncan, died at the scene.

    Investigators said they were able to identify the suspect as 23-year-old Anthony Dewayne Landrum, Jr. of Spartanburg.

    Landrum was arrested Tuesday afternoon at a home in Roebuck.

    He is charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

    Landrum is being held in the Spartanburg County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing scheduled for Wednesday afternoon.
