    New Polk County Central Dispatch Center breaks ground

    BOLIVAR, Mo. — The next step for the creation of a brand new Central Dispatch Center in Polk County is now underway.

    A groundbreaking ceremony was held for a new Central Dispatch location on Monday, July 8, on North Davis Drive in Bolivar, where construction for the new dispatch center will now begin.

    Missouri Governor Mike Parson and state senators Sandy Crawford and Lincoln Hough were among the state lawmakers who attended the event Monday.

    Polk County Central Dispatch says the new building will help them better serve the community and first responders.
