Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa recognized in ‘Best Hotel’ awards

Grab a bathing suit and sunscreen. Southwest Florida can boast it has one of the best hotel pools in the state.

The Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa has been recognized in U.S News & World Report’s “Best Hotels” awards. The hotel was among the “Best Pool Hotels in Florida” category.

The resort was ranked as the 17th top pool hotel in the U.S. News & World Report “Best Hotel” awards. The awards are based on an evaluation of rankings from awards, hotel class and guest ratings. The 2024 list highlights more than 35,000 hotels across numerous countries, regions and destinations to help travelers find the hotel that’s right for them.

The resort features a lazy river complex that is home to the resort’s iconic dueling waterslide and inner tube slide. Guests can also enjoy the waterfall pool, scenic lap pool and adventure pool which features an impressive corkscrew waterslide and a smaller waterslide for younger children. The resort offers several luxury cabana options which include a comfortable chaise lounge and sofa seating, a mini fridge stocked with sodas and water, and a large-screen television, and dedicated food and beverage service.

Additionally, guests can enjoy multiple relaxation areas that showcase the tropical setting, as well as a variety of lawn games on its grassy courtyards including corn hole, giant Jenga and oversized Connect Four. After a day of enjoying the resort’s amenities, guests can roast marshmallows and make s’mores at palm tree-shaded fire pits, or practice their golf skills at a lakeside practice putting green. The resort also features spa treatments, yoga classes and live music. ¦
