    TEMPERATURE SWINGS AND SUNSHINE

High pressure has dominated our forecast this week with sinking, dry air. That has kept the skies clear with chilly wake-up temperatures and mild afternoons. Get set for another swing from the 50s to the 70s today. Layers will be your friend!

Winds will shift tomorrow as we track low pressure passing well off the Massachusetts coastline. Although all the deep moisture will stay offshore, you’ll see more clouds and notice an increase in humidity levels. Partly cloudy and generally dry weather will rule. The risk of a shower is low, but I don’t want to rule out a spot sprinkle in eastern MA.

    WEEKEND RAIN POTENTIAL

Clouds will continue to increase Saturday as a front approaches from the west. That front has sped up in the last 24 hours, so the current rain timeline looks like Saturday evening and night. Most of Saturday itself will stay dry. That faster front clears quickly Sunday for a return to mostly sunny skies.
