Jaylen Brown Under Fire After Responding To Bronny James Insult Allegations

Late Monday night, the Boston Celtics and the Los Angeles Lakers faced off in the Las Vegas Summer League. Lakers rookie Bronny James continued his disappointing showing with another poor performance.

In an 88-74 loss, Bronny recorded two points, three rebounds and one assist. Celtics star and NBA Finals MVP Jaylen Brown was in attendance and he didn't seem to be impressed with LeBron James' son.

A video swirled online of Brown at the game talking to his rumored girlfriend, Kysre Gondrezick, and Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese. Lip readers seemed to pick up his message to them regarding Bronny.

"I don’t think Bronny is a pro," Brown supposedly said.

On Tuesday morning, Brown took to social media to respond to his rumored insult , seemingly backtracking on what he reportedly said about Bronny.

"It’s a flex to have your son alongside you in the nba it reflects greatness and longevity !Bronny has all the tools around him to be successful I look forward to watching his growth"

Brown's response strongly suggests that the rumors are indeed accurate.

NBA fans expressed disapproval of Brown's response, pointing out that he would have been better off ignoring the allegations or embracing the remarks about Bronny. Many took to social media to leave their opinions on Brown's response.
