Boston police investigating after 2 people shot in Downtown Crossing

Two people were shot in Boston’s Downtown Crossing section early Thursday morning, authorities said.

The shooting happened in the area of 451 Washington Street near Summer Street just before 3 a.m., according to the Boston Police Department.

The victims, whose names haven’t been released, were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Video from the scene showed evidence markers scattered on the ground and the area roped off with yellow crime tape.

At least one bullet casing was found, Boston 25′s Ryan Breslin reported.

Police noted that no arrests have been made in connection with the incident.

An investigation is ongoing.
