“Realistic… Can’t Block For Nothing!” – Travis Hunter Blasts Colorado’s O-Line On ‘College Football 25’ Live Stream

The more antics I see from Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter, the less convinced I am that, per Deion Sanders' forecast, he'll control their destiny when they're selected in the first four picks of the 2025 NFL Draft. Coach Prime and Shedeur talking trash about Colorado's transfers was a bad look. Now it's Hunter's turn to pile on to the players who probably already feel bad enough about getting the Buffaloes off to a strong start in 2023 only to implode to a 4-8 record. While playing as Colorado on a live stream for the new EA Sports video game
College Football 25 , Hunter belittled his teammates, openly mocking the offensive line for their poor performance. "The o-line is realistic — yes, very realistic! [They] can't block for nothing!" https://twitter.com/mrohr77/status/1812529234214101423 Yes, the Buffaloes were a bad unit up front last season, but Colorado wasn't expected to be an overnight success once Coach Prime basically turned over the entire roster via the transfer portal. There wasn't really any need for Hunter to say this. Even if it's true, he should've had the discernment to know that it's all in the past, and the Buffaloes are moving forward with a new lineup in 2024 anyway. Instead of having a little bit of class, here's Hunter showing some, um, questionable leadership. What I enjoyed was this burn toward Shedeur, who was running for his life a lot of the time like Hunter was while controlling him in the video game, but did himself no favors by holding onto the ball for so long oftentimes. https://twitter.com/maxtoscano1/status/1812552762913132587 Hunter was playing against Shedeur as part of the
College Football 25 Gameday Showcase in advance of its official release this week. https://twitter.com/DaysTillNCAA/status/1811823029883662737 In quite the funny twist of fate, Shedeur won the matchup thanks to an in-game pick-six by none other than, you guessed it: Travis Hunter. https://twitter.com/LockedOnBuffs/status/1812580356366954953 I'm not trying to make too big of a deal out of this, yet it's impossible to ignore how some of the cutthroat competitiveness and negative reinforcement Deion is preaching seems to be rubbing off on his son and on Hunter, who Coach Prime has said is like another son to him. Because Hunter is so talented as a both a wide receiver and cornerback, I think he has a little more leeway to speak his mind and not have his draft stock hindered too much. We'll see. A whole season is still ahead where Colorado really needs to make a giant leap forward to crystallize Prime's vision of Hunter and Shedeur being top-four picks.
