Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders is easily one of the biggest names in college football in 2024, but according to 247 Sports, he's also one of the best talents.

The son of head Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders, Shedeur Sanders flashed supreme upside at times in 2023, especially early in the year, and caught the eye of NFL scouts. The jury is still out on his future after an up-and-down year for him and the team overall in '23, but 2024 could prove to be the year Sanders shows he's a serious future pro.

That's what Brad Crawford of 247 Sports is calling for, as he rated Sanders the No. 1 QB in his article ranking college football's top 25 quarterbacks .

"The best of Shedeur Sanders is yet to come," wrote Crawford of his top QB. "The truth is, Sanders would start for just about every team nationally given his skill set and his arm is one of the strongest nationally."

Crawford notes that offensive line play could very well sink Colorado and Sanders again. However, if Sanders can lead Colorado to a bowl game in year two of his father's tenure, well, then Crawford believes that could be enough to justify him as the NFL draft's QB1.

"He'll have a chance this season to ascend to top quarterback billing ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft if Colorado gets to bowl eligibility behind his leadership," states Crawford.

That's some lofty praise for Shedeur Sanders, who has a crucial 2024 season coming up.
