BRENHAM POLICE MAKE FIVE ARRESTS SATURDAY
A Rockdale man was arrested early Saturday on drug charges, one of five arrests on the day for the Brenham Police Department. Brenham Police report that early Saturday morning at 12:20, Officer Nicolas Conforti checked on a suspicious vehicle in the 900 block of North Park Street. Drugs and a suspected THC Vape Pen were found in the vehicle during a search. Aaron Wayne Norman, 34 of Rockdale, was placed under arrest for Possession Controlled Substance and Possession Marijuana less than 2 oz. and transported to the Washington County Jail.
TWO PEOPLE ARRESTED FOR ACTIVE WARRANTS
Two people were arrested Monday for active warrants. Brenham police report that Monday morning at 7:30, Officers responded to a residence located in the 1800 block of Basin Trail in reference to a warrant service. Upon arrival, officers located Randa Newman Allie, 57 of Brenham, and placed her into custody for an active Injury to a Child Warrant and transported to the Washington County Jail.
BRENHAM MAN KILLED IN CRASH ON OLD CHAPPELL HILL ROAD
A Brenham man was killed in a single-vehicle accident Monday evening between Brenham and Chappell Hill. DPS Sergeant Justin Ruiz reports that the accident occurred shortly after 8 p.m. in the 6500 block of Old Chappell Hill Road. According to Sgt. POLICE RESPOND TO SUSPICIOUS PERSON CALL
Brenham Police were dispatched to a report of a suspicious person early Sunday morning. They report that early Sunday morning at 2:45, Officers were dispatched to 2000 block of FM 389 in reference to a suspicious person. Officers made contact with a subject, Giannie Alessan Contreras, 32 of Brenham, who had two active warrants in Washington County for Driving While Intoxicated and No Driver’s License issued out of Washington County. Contreras was taken into custody and released to jail staff without incident.
