Spotswood baseball, softball defeats Broadway
PENN LAIRD, Va. (WHSV) - Trailing 5-4 in the bottom of the seventh inning, Spotswood’s baseball team rallied for two runs to defeat Broadway 6-5 on Thursday night. With runners at second and third base, Cam Blank singled up the middle to bring in both runs and help Spotswood to a comeback win. The Blazers (15-4, 8-3) now sit a half game behind Broadway (15-4, 9-3) in the Valley District standings.

TROY, Al. (WHSV) - James Madison baseball wrapped up their 2024 season, taking two of three against Troy as both teams split a double header Saturday afternoon. James Madison would open up with an early 2-0 lead thanks to a two-run homer by Jason Schiavone. TR Williams picks up his third win of the season, starting two innings while striking out three batters.
