The teen told detectives the suspect asked him if he was in a gang. The boy allegedly said no, which started an argument and things escalated to gunfire. The victim said he heard several shots before realizing he had been hit by a bullet in his left leg.

The teen was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injuries, according to police.

On Sunday, police said they were looking for four males who fled on Citi Bikes, but had not made any arrests.
