7-year-old girl the latest victim of a dog attack in Brooklyn Park

Only days after pit bulls mauled a three-year-old , another child has been attacked by a dog in Brooklyn Park.

Brooklyn Park police report that officers were called at around 4:40 p.m. to a report of a seven-year-old girl who was attacked by a dog in the 7500 block of Janell Avenue.

Thankfully the seven-year-old only received superficial injuries from the attack.

Brooklyn PD says that as officers were attempting to secure the dog, it tried to attack another little boy.

Officers eventually killed the dog.

This comes after an incident in the city last Friday , when a three-year-old boy was attacked by two pit bulls in Brooklyn Park and left in critical condition.

Police killed one of the dogs and left the other injured. There has been no update provided on the boy's condition since then.
