BUCKHANNON, W.Va. (WBOY) — A man is dead after a fire in Upshur County that four fire departments responded to on Tuesday.

The Upshur County 911 Communications Center was alerted to a reported structure fire in the 2800 block of Turkey Run Road in Buckhannon, the Upshur County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release.

When crews arrived, they located “a single-family dwelling heavily damaged,” and deputies were requested to assist at the scene, the release states.
