Mild temps continue, heat returning late week
Another week of relatively mild temperatures is ahead with an active start to the week. While we are not tracking any severe storms, we are looking at more of your typical summertime afternoon thunderstorms that are isolated to scattered in nature. Tuesday will have the highest chance for some scattered thunderstorms. The stronger ones could features some heavy downpours and small hail.
Byron Good Neighbor Days wraps up with a parade
(ABC 6 News) – Byron Good Neighbor Days wrapped up five days of fun on Sunday with a parade. The grand parade began at 3 p.m. and ran along 4th Street. Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - What apparently started as a trash can fire resulted in significant damage to a residence at a southeast Rochester mobile home park on Saturday. The Rochester Fire Department says crews responded around 10:15 AM to reports of a fire at the Southgate Circle mobile home park, which is located off Highway 14 East near the Air Insanity indoor trampoline Park. When the firefighters arrived at the scene they found a trashcan and lean-to structure engulfed in flames.
Domestic Dispute Call Leads to Arson Charge For Rochester Woman
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester woman is facing an arson charge stemming from a domestic dispute that occurred in late May. According to a criminal complaint filed in Olmsted County Court, Rochester police responded to reports of a domestic disturbance at a duplex in northwest Rochester around 10:15 PM on the night of May 30. When they arrived at the property, one of the officers reported hearing a fire alarm sounding throughout the building and a burnt odor in the residence.
