Timeline set for new gambling license applications
Des Moines, IA- The Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission set the timeline Friday for new license applications. Radio Iowa reports that the process includes a gambling market study and proposals to do that are due August 15th. Applications for those interested in getting a license are due one month later.

(The Center Square) - Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds said Monday two new housing programs to help victims of Iowa's recent storms are now open to applicants. The State Disaster Recovery New Housing Grant Program gives developers up to $1 million in grants to develop residential units for sale or rent in disaster-stricken areas, according to a news release from the governor. Executive Order 10 (EO10), signed by Governor Reynolds on January 10, 2023, requires all state agencies to identify which administrative rule chapters will be retained or rescinded.
