On July 4, 2023, just before 1:30 pm, the victim told police she went to a residence on East Fourth to collect items after their relationship broke up.

She said Williams closed the door on her foot, and when she went to the garage to get the baby crib, Williams got a handgun, put it to his head, and began yelling in her face.

She said she pushed him out of the way, and he shoved her. Then he sprayed her in the face and head with pepper spray, which caused pain and burning.

The victim told first responders she was 33 weeks pregnant and was taken to the hospital by ambulance to be treated and assessed.
