Alebrijes art exhibit at NIU library puts Mexican sculptures on display
DEKALB, Ill. (WIFR) - Nearly two dozen Mexican sculptures are now on display at NIU’s Founders Memorial Library. The exhibit, which is open until November 15, presents a collection of 23 alebrijes created by six artists from Mexico City. The DuPage Mexican Cultural Center in West Chicago donated the pieces to the exhibit.
