American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Serves Meal At Dupage Care Center
The Ladies Auxiliary of the West Chicago American Legion Post #300 served dinner to 17 residents at the DuPage Care Center this evening. We are so appreciative of the generous donations from the community for their special Christmas in July program! The auxiliary was able to donate funds directly to each Veteran for their personal accounts at DPCC. Special thanks go to Sons Of The American Legion Post #300 for their support, and Hawthorne’s Backyard for providing the delicious food.

Gray (5-4) picked up the win Tuesday against the White Sox, allowing one run on four hits and no walks across 7.2 innings. He struck out five. Gray finished off Tuesday's start retiring 15 consecutive batters and despite pitching into the eighth had thrown 80 pitches before being pulled.
