District announces new director of facilities

Burnet CISD announced the appointment of Brian Gilmore as the new director of facilities and operations for the district.

Brian has been with BCISD since 2020, starting as bus driver and then a driver trainer.

He was then promoted to assistant director of facilities and operations last April.

Before joining BCISD, Brian had a successful career with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice where he reached the rank of lieutenant while serving as a corrections cfficer and as a risk manager.

Brian and his wife live here in Burnet and are proud parents of a Burnet Bulldog 7th grader.

Brian has been serving as the district’s acting director of facilities and operations since Dec. 22, 2023.
