Flash flood warning for Durham and Orange counties; up to 4 inches of rain forecast
DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — A flash flood warning was issued Monday afternoon for areas in central North Carolina, according to the National Weather Service. The flash flood warning was issued until 6:15 p.m. for Southern Durham County and Southeastern Orange County after up to 2.5 inches of rain had fallen and 1.5 more inches of rain was possible, the weather service warned.

Tonya Council, the granddaughter of Mildred Council of Mama Dip’s fame, has opened a lovely bakery with plans to start a sandwich shop next door.
