14-year-old's death being investigated after wall falls on him at Robins Air Force Base
WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — A 14-year-old boy is dead after being injured at Heritage Pool on Robins Air Force Base, according to Houston County coroner James Williams. He says the boy was hurt when a wall fell on him and two other people around 3:00 p.m. on Monday. At this time, it is unclear how the wall fell.

Macon inmate pleads guilty to jail escape
MACON – A Macon man who broke out of the Bibb County Jail in 2023 as he was awaiting federal sentencing for armed drug trafficking has pleaded guilty to escaping from custody. Johnifer Dernard Barnwell, 38, pleaded guilty to one count of escape from custody before U.S. District Judge C. Ashley Royal. Barnwell faces a maximum sentence of five years in prison.
