Bellevue hosts junior Olympic games ahead of Paris opening ceremonies
In celebration of the upcoming Olympic opening ceremonies in Paris, Bellevue is hosting a junior Olympic games event at the Bellevue Beach Park this week. The event kicks off on July 24 at 5 p.m. with a torch relay for the first 40 attendees. Kids 12 and under can participate in various events such as javelin, track and field, shot put, a cartwheel competition and more. Medals will be awarded to the winners.
