PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - A new Panama City ordinance could potentially to loosen golf cart restrictions in downtown Panama City and St. Andrews. Currently, low-speed vehicles are already allowed to operate on St. Andrews and downtown Panama City roads. However, Panama City commissioners are proposing an ordinance that would allow golf carts in those same areas.

Panama City CRA tweaks $500,000 FDOT agreement for St. Andrews landscaping improvements
PANAMA CITY — Local officials are working to aesthetically improve areas of the the St. Andrews Community Redevelopment Agency. In a CRA meeting on Tuesday, local officials approved an amended joint participation agreement with FDOT that will use a $500,000 grant to pay for landscaping improvements in St. Andrews along State Road 30, U.S. 98, Business 98 and Beck Avenue from 16th Street to 10th Street.

On Saturday, July 20th, the Man in the Sea Museum honored the six remaining aquanauts from SEALAB 60 years after the water vessel deployed into Bermuda waters in 1964: proving Navy Captain Dr. George Bond’s concept of saturation diving.
